Low-pressure injection moulding, also called the hot melt process, encloses and evenly fills the contact area within the lamp unit. Combined with ultrasound welding there is no need to worry about your PRO-REP lights shorting out due to water ingress. This is the PRO-REP’s major advantage over screw-in and bayonet fittings, and also what makes it a reliable, durable companion.
