Es wird zwischen der Zuleitung zu der Leuchte und der Leuchte selbst eingefügt, so dass auch Leuchten, die noch über keine Ausfallerkennung nach ISO 13207-1 verfügen, an modernen Fahrzeugen betrieben werden können.
